This site is dedicated to Zelda Leibowitz.

Zelda Leibowitz lived a wonderful life filled with much happiness and joy that she derived from being a daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend to those she loved. Everyone has a favorite Zelda story that stirs up a slew of emotions. She loved with a fervor that was as aromatic as the perfume she wore, back in the day. She had a good life here on Earth for more than nine decades. Each person who met Zelda has his or her favorite story about what she did, said, or sometimes should not have said. As a nonagenarian card shark, Zelda was cleverly able to play each hand she was dealt. In her later years she even figured out that the odds of winning Solitaire were greater if you played with one deck and then had another deck nearby for the card that you may need. She often remarked, "Nothing good lasts forever, nothing bad lasts forever." She was partly right-since the good she shared with those who were fortunate enough to know her are memories that will last forever. Rest in Peace, Zelda Kate. You are now with your Al and Stephan. Peace, baby girl. Love you Mother Z.

My condolences go out to the family. I am so sorry too hear of the lost of a dear loved one to this family. Dealing with this situation can be the hardest thing to face. God's word the bible gives heartfelt and true meaning for ones sleeping in death; Revelation 21: 3,4 says: 3  With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” God also promises a hope for ones to have life again at John 5: 28,29a : Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29  and come out. Feel free to visit Jw.org for more encouraging bible truths.

Zelda known to me as Zelegance was one of a kind. She gave advice, cared and expressed love for those she wanted in her presence. I loved her stories, hugs and kisses. She definitely made her mark in my life and will never be forgetten. My heart and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Grandma Z,

Wish I had one more hug, one more kiss, one more nasty look.
I was always your Alana-girl. I always thought I'd have you but now I have to get used to not having you here physically. I take comfort in knowing you are with Daddy Al and daddy. I know you've been waiting for that. Love you so much and will always remember you. Love you always!
Love Your,

I was fortunate to be a small part of some of your family's joys and to get to know you during those times. You were a true matriarch, and your children and their children loved you immensely, just as you loved them. I pray for their sorrows to ease in time, as they take comfort in celebrating your life and in knowing that they carry you with them for this generation and the generations to come. Rest in peace, Zelda. Say hi to Stephan for me.

Your laugh was infectious, you loved with all your being, and I am proud to call you MY Grandma. Your life lives through all of us; all the branches that stem from you and Grandpa. I pray that you have everlasting peace and joy with Daddy up there.
I will never, ever forget you and will never stop loving you for the rest of my years.

your Stacey girl.
