We will never forget Virginia with her welcoming smile and ever present enthusiasm. She was the first person we met in Newport, and the last to wave goodbye when we had to leave. She was and always will be one of those authentic people with the kindest of hearts who touched our lives and even those of our animals a great deal. The world is a lesser place without her, but no doubt she is taking good care of the neighborhood cats who have passed on and is enjoying much love and laughter, always cherished by many. Thank you Virginia and to the Crook family for touching our lives. We will never forget you all. Please know that we are out here sending much love and many prayers.

I’d like to add my condolences to those already lovingly listed in this guest book in remembrance and in honor of my cousin, Virginia. In reading over the guest book entries about Virginia, it appears to me that hers was a life well lived: full of joy, compassion, and love. May God rest your soul, Virginia, and comfort your family and friends. Thank you, Brian, for creating this online place for your mom’s family and friends to gather, share, and remember.

Your cousin,
Sue Iden

"It's hard to believe that a year has passed. We are returning to Oregon after 8 years and she always told us to return to where we were happiest, but Newport isn't the same without Virginia. We're going to Portland. Love to her dear family. always"
