Born on December 12 1933, to Chief and Mrs Osa Osaghae, of Ugonoba in Edo State, mid-western Nigeria, West Africa, Madam Victoria was the last of four children. Her unprecendated passion for education and talent in athletes earned her an athletic scholarship that saw her through school in an era when female education was as scarce as chickens teeth.

Driven by the same passion, she attended Teachers Training College and University of Benin where she bagged the National Certicate of Education (NCE)and Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) respectively and thereafter went ahead and taught in primary and secondary schools in differnt capacities before she retired in 1985.

Madam Victoria was an agent of change and a pillar of charitable courses which she desmostrated through her commitment to various women enlightenment including her strong advocacy for the ceasation of female circumcision and honorable treatment of widowhood.

Her political clout as the women leader (ward 5, Edo State)during the second republic of Nigeria cumulated in transition from Military to Democratic rule amongst various achievemnts.

Until she transcended unto glory on the 14th of November 2009, she was a devoted christain and a member of St Joseph cathotholic Church of Benin City and later a founding member of St Molumba Parish of Third East Circular Road, Benin City where she was the treasurer of the Charismatic Movement as well as the Christian Women Organization (CWO).

She is preceded in death by her husband S.U.E OKungbowa ESQ, and survived by Madam Oghagbon Osaghae(sister), Three Children Cythia Johnson Amiuwu, Esohe Okungbowa, and Daniel Osa Okungbowa (MD) and seven wonderful grand children- Miss Adesuwa Amiuwu (MD), Eng. Miss Nosa Amiuwu, Master Ehiosu Amiuwu, Master Osasu Amiuwu, Master Immanuel Isosa Okungbowa, Miss Victoria (II) Iyenoma Okungbowa, and Master Joshua Osarobo Okungbowa and loving sons and daughter in-laws.

it's two yrs today, you left us.every detail still fresh in my memory. I bless God, for the strenght he has given me , osaretin and Sis.Eki, the love/bond.
