Memorial
This site is dedicated to Trudy Rodrigues.

Gertrude “Trudy” Lillian Woolridge Rodrigues,78, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2014. She was surrounded in love. By vocation mom was a nurse and teacher. Her passion however was her family. She found immense joy and appreciation in the ability to be actively involved in the lives of her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Mom loved cooking, and was famous for her potato salad and stuffed celery. Music ( Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Josh Turner and Blake Shelton. She enjoyed television and films that involved “a badge, a gun and little romance”.

When meeting young people she instantly took them under her wing and assigned a nickname. Everyone was a “Honey”, “lump of sugar” “ Sweet pea” or my favorite “Sweet stuffing mix”.

Mom once told me that no one could understand how deeply she loved her children. Mom we do understand because we love you the same. Thank you for the sacrifices you have made on our behalf. For the countless hours you have spent listening and lecturing us, and for raising us right.

We love you to infinity and beyond.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Death is something never easy to deal with. It leaves hearts heavy with pain and sadness. But you can gain comfort from God's word the Bible. By reading God's promise to rid the earth of death and its painful effects forever. Revelation 21:3, 4 tells us that soon death, pain, and sickness will be no more. So be of good cheer to know that soon your dead loved ones will come back to life again.

Made chicken salad over crackers for Aurora last night. She said" this is good, how do you know how to make it?". I said" GG taught me". Aurora smiled and said "of course she did, GG taught you everything". Thanks mom for taking the time to teach me all the things that make life so beautiful. I am passing that on to the next generation. Your love lives on and on !

Trudy, I know you are rejoicing in heaven and smiling down on us. You left us all with beautiful memories to cherish. I will always remember our many conversations, your love for colorful clothes, and your appreciation for food. You were a bona fide "foodie" long before the term was coined ☺️. Rest in peace, my sister. You will forever live on in my heart. Love and blessings, Gwen

when loved one dies the pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable.
but the bible promises that the dead ones will be resurrected and will have an opportunity to live forever on this earth in peaceful and happy conditions.
please visit www.jw.org and there you can find more about this.
