Tommy Rose

This site is dedicated to Tommy Rose.
Tommy was the sort of person who loved life, loved his family and friends and lived each day to the fullest. He didn't know defeat and seldomly let himself be anything but happy. He celebrated birthdays and Christmas like any little kid and wanted to try everything life had to offer.
He helped others, even when it cost him personally.

He had a huge heart that was mirrored in his eyes and his smile. He hugged his loved ones often and said, "I love you" often.

Because he was daring and always trying things that appeared risky, we had talks about safety and caution. He would laugh and say that he wasn't afraid to die, because then he would be with God at Home. His Bible was worn and torn. The ragged cover showed the constant use. He not only believed, but he lived what he read and studied.

Tommy appreciated the gift of life he had been given. He called whenever the first snow hit the ground, sharing his delight. Thank God he never heeded the advice to be safe rather than approach the edges of existence. In his few years, he lived more than most people will ever imagine. Petra loved him and he loved her. They planned to be together forever. Someday, they will be.

"Tommy, Your flame was extinguished way too soon. Every day, you are in my thoughts. I miss you as much now as I did on day one. Nicole has a son and Crista now has one. They will hear stories about you. Corey could be learning so much from you."
