Thomas Cook

I created this site in memory of my grandfather Thomas Cook. He is loved by all. He ws a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a great grandfather. Papa showed us all many things. He liked to hunt. He always always had atleast two pecans in his pocket ready to crack more open. He loves the Atlanta Braves. He watched wrestling. He repaired lawn mowers. Papa had a garden as many know. I used to go in it with him to pick the vegetables and watermelons. ( Sometimes I went without him too) usually got into trouble for that. Papa used to take Granny and I on trips to N.C. and Tennessee. We went to Cleveland Ga to the Cabbage Patch House and ate at Ma Gooch's several times. These are some memories that I have with Papa. There was a time as I was older and brought my children to visit him and Granny that I had asked for an icecream. He said No they are for the grandkids. Boy did my mouth drop. I ran right to granny and told her what he had said. She gave me a funny look and asked "Well, what are you?" So I got my icecream. I will never ever forget that. I could go on and on about the memories I have with him, but this is about Papa. I miss him dearly. He was such an important part of my life, and still is. He leaves behind a legacy of wisdom to us all. We love you Papa.
