Memorial
This site is dedicated to Thelma Cox-Arthur.

My aunt was a beautiful, strong woman. I miss her dearly. She was from Bluff City, TN. She has 1 daughter, Debbie, and 4 sons, Gary, Larry, Mike & Jerry.

I remember when my Aunt got sick, they said she had a disease called Lupus, which no one had any clue what that was or what effects it would soon have on her. From there, she slowly started getting worse. She was bed ridden on most days to her hospital bed in her home & she had to end up using oxygen. She became very swollen & puffed up from the many medications she was on, including Prednisone.

My Aunt passed away on April 27, 2000; not too long after I had my daughter, who was 3 months premature & only a little over a year after me finding out that I to had this horrible disease called Lupus.

She was a wonderful person & I will never forget her. She was always full of joy & laughs. I know that she is in a better place & will be waiting to see me when my time comes!

I always loved going to Aunt Thelma's house. We got to ride horses and there was just something about being there that was always so warm. I sure do miss her too. It was so sad to see her suffer so, although I didn't understand why at the time. Aunt Thelma pray with us that a cure or a much better treatment at least is just around the corner for those who suffer with that which took you away from this earth. I love you and wish you could have been here to meet Miss Helena. But the good news is, we will all be united someday and you will get to do just that.
