This site is dedicated to Taylor and Mackenzie Bommarito.

Taylor and Mackenzie were the children that we always wanted.

When we found out that I was pregnant and that we were blessed with not only one, but two, identical twin girls, it was the most exciting day of our lives.... next to our wedding day November 27, 1999.

It was a very good pregnancy, until we found out that our girls had Twin to Twin Transfusion. They shared the same placenta, blood supply and nutrition. As they grew inside of me the risk of stroke grew greater when they required more blood and nutrition.

My stillborn twins were born November 27, 2001 after having a stroke.. the same day as our wedding anniversary, 2 years later...

This was the saddest day of our lives. Tom and I were able to hold our girls and say our final goodbye.

It has been 10 years November 27, 2011 since they have been gone. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about them and what they would have looked like, what personalities they would have, their first day of school, their friends, our holidays together.....

I want to thank all of you that have supported Tom and I during this difficult period. It has been a long and painful journey.

I wanted to remember them in a special way on the 10th anniversary of their death, so that is why I have created this site. We will never forget you Taylor and Mackenzie.

To Tom and Carrie,
I feel honored that you have shared this beautiful tribute to Taylor and Mackenzie with me. It is with the utmost sympathy and sadness that I am able to help you commemorate your 10th anniversary since their birth and your heartbreaking loss. It is so hard sometimes to accept a plan beyond our understanding. Please know that you will be reunited some day when it is God's will, and you will be able to finally know those precious daughters. You are in our hearts and prayers, and we love you both.

After all these years you remain in my heart in such a very special way. I am sooo very sorry for the loss you and Tom have suffered in not having the chance to raise your precious daughters. You would have been an amazing Mommy. My heart continues to hold onto the hope that our daughters, Taylor, Mackenzie, & Destiny, await us in heaven where we will have eternity to soak them in - and the One who made them.
We are living far away in Utah now, but you are close in my heart, and I will be praying for you and Tom.
