Dale was very instumental in my life.He came to me through a God send,I believe. It was his example and patience that allowed me to better myself, so I intern could help others. He will always be a part of my life...

"Papa Dale" cared for me when i did not and or could not care for myself.I am where i am today because of this wonderful man.Loved and cared for me and my wife, and was also there to see all four of my children being born. We love you "Papa Dale" and you will in our hearts for a life time.

Uncle Dale has been a part of the Overton family for over 50 years. When we lived in San Diego he was part of the family before I was born - and when I arrived he became my Godfather. All of us have many wonderful memories of Uncle Dale (My Dad (now deceased), Mom and two brothers and a sister). He had a huge impact on all of our lives and we were very blessed to have had him in our lives. Miss and Love You Uncle Dale! Lori Overton-Taylor and family.

Although Dale never had a natural family of his own, the Lord saw fit that he would be an integral part of more families than the average man. My kids and all of our family know him as Granpa Dale, and we are proud and honored to have been a part of his life. It stuns me to think that more than 40 years have gone by since meeting him when he rented the house I grew up in, in Lakewood. God has you now Dale, and I for one am envious.

I was in the army with Dale, at White Sands. I didn't know him well, but he was very helpfull in setting up a school for the Corporal and Nike missiles, that I was involved with. From what I read, being helpfull was an important part of Dale's life.

Words cannot explain my how I feel at this moment. I will miss him and think of all our treasured times together . . .our Family gatherings . . .how he never judged me as I was going through some bumps. He only Loved me as well as the support he gave me. I want to thank my cousin bobby for bringing Dale into our family. He was our family and we will truly keep his legacy LIVING... It is CRUSHING FINALITY for us left here, but for precious Dale he is with Grama Addie, Heathermary, Kippy, Vi, Uncle Bob and all our others that are in HEAVEN.

Dale know we are thinking of you of every moment of every day and we will see you again. I DO KNOW THIS....WE LOVE YOU DEEPLY.

Robert, thank you for the wonderful web site.
I only new Dale slightly but the web site is a real tribute to him and told me about the kind of
person he was. Loved and liked by many, walking in the way of Our Savior throughout his life. Thank you again.

Loving. Gentle. Generous. Second Grandfather. Best Bud. Mentor. He was all those things to me. I am heartbroken he is gone - was privileged to call him friend - and will miss him terribly.

I have many fond memories of Dale. He became a part of our family and our lives over 20 years ago and was at the hospital when 2 of our children were born. He was supportive and loving to all of us. We were blessed to have him be a part of our lives. As he was to many; our kids called him "Papa Dale". He will be missed by all who knew him.
