Driving along the coast yesterday and on the radio is playing, Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I had to stop and catch my breath as memories of you and my beautiful sister overwhelmed me. She told me that each time you'd arrive in Hawaii, you'd have to purchase another copy of this CD. I could just picture the 2 of you driving along, top down, singing at the top of your lungs as palm trees and ocean breezes accompanied you. Thank you for making my sister so happy. Our world will never be the same without you in it!

Life in Steve's "space" has always been fun, crazy, rewarding, but mostly he was loved by all of us. He was such a great dad to John and Christy, and then Lisa and Jessie. He was married to Sandee, for 22 years -- she was his soul mate -- like bread and butter. I think I can speak for all of us that our love of Steve will live on in our hearts. We miss you sooooooo much!

Steve was about the best son-in-law ever, we had some great times talking over the news events and just about anything you could think of, he was interested in it all. I will be forever thankful to Steve for making my Daughter Sandee so very happy. They were a true love match and a great working team. Steve was very giving and wanted to make peoples lives much better. I will love you forever Steve and never forget you.

A friend and I were talking about Steve about two years ago. We were saying it would be nice to be more like Steve. He could make you feel good in any situation. He could always see the good in things and not sweat the small things. So whenever we would be having a bad day or in a bad mood we would text "SW" to the guy having the bad day. We knew that would mean. Look at the good things and get in a better mood. Funny it really works.

I always looked forward to talking with Steve. He was so inspirational, and could change anyones perspective if they were feeling down. He carried himself with a sense of charisma like no other. I will always look up to you Steve. You were one of a kind! Thank you so much!
