Car Club and car show's, she wrote poetry. She loved to laugh and joke around, pulling prank's. Shannon was anticipating the arrival of her first niece "Riley Shannon Abbott" which was born the day after she passed. She was a proud aunt.

~"SHANNON LENORE SHUMPERT"~

Shannon was my very special girl. When I was down she could alway's make me smile !! God decided to take her home. Unexpectedly we lost her in a matter of day's. I feel like I have a hole in my heart that just won't go away.
But, I know somewhere in heaven she is looking down on me smiling and saying ....

"Momma, why are you so sad? I am with my father and he is a King, so that make's me a princess. Don't cry!! You too can live with us for eternity. I love you Momma, but I would never, ever leave here! Soon we all will be together!!! Now go ahead and smile, you know I love you, and Momma, I miss you too!!"
This is just what I could imagine her saying to me. To all her friend's and family, thank's for being there for ME . It is in you that I get my strength. I love you all.

To "Doughboy" you will alway's be a part of my family. She loved you so much and was proud to be your fiance. I know your pain is deep. I'll alway's be here for you !!

"Hey Shannon ! My computer has been down for month's and I didn't get to say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" yesterday. I did however go visit you at your gravesite. It is so beautiful and so many of your friend's visit frequently and have added alot of beautiful thing's to help keep it looking good. Mostly alot of fairies and mushroom's. Everyone that knew you knew those were your favorite's. I still miss you so much but God keep's me strong and let's me see that it is okay for me to be happy and know we will be together again. "Hi shannon. Your mother and I were close freinds. You and my daughter martina shared bithdays though you were older than her. We often talk about all the good times we all had together. You were there when my son took his first steps. Funny how time flies two days ago tina started college and devon started working he will be leaving for college in january. I was fortunate in life not to lose anyone close to me as a young child. My son lost his cousin at the age of 5. Then we lost you. Even though I'm a grown woman sometimes I cry like a baby. We love you and miss you so much. "
