Mr. Samson Iroghama Edomwonyi was born in Iyanomo Village, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government area of Edo State to the family of Late Pa Jacob Edomwonyi Igbinosun of Iyanomo and Late Mrs. Aruhunde Edomwonyi Igbinosun of Oher Village, Edo State on March 19th, 1941.

He lived in Benin City with his parents where he started his early education before proceeding to Sapele Trade Centre where he obtained his City & Guilds certification and worked at A.T. & P for 3 years. In the early 1960’s, he proceeded to obtain his Diploma in Automobile Engineering from the Institute of Motor Industry, London, England.

He lived a good life and was loved by many whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife, 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 7 brothers and 11 sisters.

I am so sorry for your loss. These times are always hard, despite who you may be. Losing a loved one is always hard. But our loving heavenly Father promises us that this pain is only temporary. He tells us at John 5: 28, 29 that he will bring back our lost loved ones when he says "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life..."

Please let these words being you the comfort and hope that is needed in hard times like these.

Eki's dad...I am grateful that I was blessed to know you - you along with Mummy always made me feel so welcome in your home; every time you spoke gems of wisdom were gifted to me; your quietness of spirit and your faith were an inspiration...and I always thought my friends had an awesome dad...

Hey Eki, Omo, Efe, big sis Osa and dearest Momsie... as always, words are inadequate and fall short in dealing with loss especially of the one you call Dad. The one who with quiet strength loved you unconditionally and helped to build you into the person you grew up to sisters, my friend I cannot imagine the depths of your emotions - your myriad of feelings; my heart groans and all I am able to say is I'm so sorry for this loss of your Dad so dear...for although he may have gone to be with God which is the best place to be, it does not mean you have no grief... still as you walk through these waters of loss GOD is with you... my dear friends.

Adieu Daddy Edomwonyi🌹

Beloved Daddy Edomwonyi rest in peace, for you came, saw and conquered. I am certain that you are now in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ where we all aspire to be some day, having lived an exemplary life. I have no doubt that your able wife and successful children will continue to keep the faith by the grace of God. Adieu
