My best friend had to leave, but I can't say I'll never see her again.
We shared it all, but I can't say we never will again.
We loved each other long & hard, but I can't say we never will again.
I miss her every second & I can't say I'll never miss her.
More things than I can ever list, we learned together, but the biggest lesson we learned was "NEVER SAY NEVER" . So for her, and for everyone else, I can not say never.
I will miss you from the deepest parts of my soul for the rest of my days my sweety and I pray for the day we meet again!!!
With all my love!!
Your Papa

Rose Ann was like a mom to me since I lost my mom a few years ago. She always had a hug and some good conversation every time we visited. While we were somewhat opposites in our approach to life, we had similar views on children and we bonded when it came to the kids. I could tell she would do anything for her kids and grand-kids. Her dedication as a mom is what earned my great respect for her. Her dedication to her animals showed she had a soft heart, despite her tough exterior. She will be greatly missed and we will remember her every day, but especially on holidays and every family gathering going forward. We will miss you, Rose Ann.

Rosie Posey-
You have touched my heart in ways no one else can. I want you to know that I am here and taking care of Mom. You and Grandma and her all taught me to be a strong, independent woman and I will teach others this so valuable lesson. It has gotten me through some very rough times. As your battle is now over, I hope you are at piece. Light up a smoke from Gramma and tell her and Doo Doo I love them. I talk to Gramma every day so I am sure I will here from you soon.
Love you always,

Dear Grandma,

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
I see a line of cars and they're all painted black
With flowers and my love both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a new born baby it just happens ev'ry day
I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door and it has been painted black
Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts
It's not easy facin' up when your whole world is black
No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the settin sun
My love will laugh with me before the mornin comes
I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
Hmm, hmm, hmm,...
I wanna see it painted, painted black
Black as night, black as coal
I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky
I wanna see it painted, painted, painted, painted black
