Of their union one child was born, a daughter, Crystal. Phyllis was a loyal and devoted friend. With her warm smile and charming personality it was not hard for her to win over the hearts
of many. This gift enabled her to forge friendships that lasted a lifetime, as proven by her steadfast relationships with childhood friends.
She was an enthusiastic RAVENS football fan, as well as, college basketball fanatic who has never missed a CIAA tournament. Her joys were sewing and discovering new technology like her new laptop
computer and IPod. She enjoyed traveling and was known to all as a “Road Warrior”. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sincerely missed by all.
She leaves behind to celebrate her life: her husband, Robert Williamson;her daughter, Crystal Williamson; her step-daughter Felicia Doctor Germaine); mother Mariam Hoggard; step-father James Hoggard; sister Annette Green (Bennie); step-sister Jackie Hoggard; grandchildren:Chandler, Ashley, Tayler, Kayla, & Ja-mya; a "daughter", Cotton-the poodle, many cousins, and a host of other relatives & friends.
BUT IF YOU KNEW HER...
You knew that she was so much more than those few paragraphs could convey. She had the biggest and warmest heart of anyone you could ever know. She was kind... so kind. She was the type of person that would give you the shirt off of her back or the last dollar in her wallet. She had the warmest smile and the loudest joy filled laugh you've ever heard. She took no mess and was quick to stand up for the ones she loved. She was the person you could tell anything with no judgment and she would listen and still love you no matter what you had said. She was the mother to all. She would take anyone in and she would feed anyone at anytime with a smile. She loved hard! She loved her family and she loved her friends. She was so happy when she was with them or even on the phone with them. She was the best mother, most supportive wife, and best friend that anyone could ever ask for. She had so much stength and was able to get through any situation. She was loved, so loved that two funerals and two viewings had to be held to accomidate all of those who loved her.
She was more than I can put in writing. More than I could ever explain. More than words can say. I know she was more than that to all of you too. Please leave a story under the stories section of this site. Share your memory and make someone else smile. Speaking of her and sharing our stories will keep her alive in all of us forever.
She was my mommy. She was my best friend. She was my teacher. She was my everything. And I hope that I can be half the woman that she was.
Rest in Peace Mommy. Please continue to watch over me. I love you and I miss you very much.
