Memorial
This site is dedicated to Patricia Anderson. (Patsy)

Patsy left us on July 9, 2009. She was an absolutely amazing person. She will be sorely missed.

By way of introduction, I would like to share a poem with you that I wrote for Patsy early on in our relationship.

ISLAND GIRL

My lady is an Island Girl from the Caribbean Sea,
She brings the sunshine with her wherever she may be.
Her sweet caress is magical; her smile is warm and bright,
And when I hold her in my arms she fills me with delight.

She is kind and gentle and as sweet as she can be,
And always leads me to believe she really cares for me.
She wants to make me happy and goes out of her way
To make sure I have everything to make it through the day.

She has a playful nature and teases me no end
And watches with an impish grin as my mind starts to bend.
She’s charming and delightful and pleases all the time,
She’ll give you anything you need and won’t charge you a dime.

My lady is an Island Girl from the Caribbean Sea,
My life is so much better, because she is with me!

Patsy was the warmest, most loving, most caring person I ever met in my life.

She brought me back to life when I thought I no longer had a life.

She was kind and generous; thoughtful and wise.

She never met a stranger, everyone she met became an instant friend. She was the only person I ever met for whom the phrase "To know her is to love her" truly applied.

She didn't care about money or things, she cared about her family and friends. She was totally dedicated to her family and to me.

I will cherish her memory forever.

I love you, Patsy.

I don't have many pictures of Patsy. She gave me a nice digital camera so I could take pictures FOR her, but she didn't like me to take pictures OF her. If anyone has good pictures of Patsy available, I would greatly appreciate it if you would please post them here.

If you have a story to tell about Patsy, please share it with us.

Please sign the Guest Book before you leave.

Thank you.

PATSY

You were an Angel, sent to me to give me back my life.
You were an Angel, sent to me to ease my toil and strife.
Your loving smile, your sweet caress, these soothed my troubled soul.
Your loving arms that held me tight helped heal and make me whole.
Your warm and caring nature brought joy into my heart.
Your tenderness was such delight right from the very start.

Patsy, the magic that was you will never be repeated in this world.
I cannot express in words how much you meant to me, how much you still mean to me.
Yet, somehow, you knew.
You gave me more love in the short time we were together than I had in my previous lifetime.
You also recognized and accepted my love for you and reveled in our togetherness.

I miss the lilt in your voice when you said “Hi” to me.
I miss the glow on your face when you looked at me.
I miss your touch.
I miss the sweet smell of your skin.
I miss the warm hugs when I came home to you.
I miss rubbing your feet at night.
I miss the special times when the rest of the world didn’t exist because we were just being “US”
I miss my Sweet Island Girl.
I miss you, Patsy.
You are my Special Angel.

Patsy and I met by accident at a time in our lives when neither of us were seeking a mate. We had both resigned ourselves to a life without that kind of relationship. But when we met and began a casual conversation with each other it was as if someone had placed two strong magnets near each other. We established an instant rapport and began forging an unbreakable bond almost immediately. It was almost frightening how quickly everything developed between us. But our love was genuine, intense, and oh so sweet, and continued to grow day by day right to the very end.

I will always love Patsy, my Sweet Baby, my Sweet Island Girl.
