This site is dedicated to our loving mother Patricia Markowitz LaBracio who suddenly passed away on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, in Holmdel after courageously battling cancer for over 25 years. She was 65. She was a loving and caring mother to Tricia, Tray, and Todd and a wonderful wife to Peter.

Born in Elizabeth, she grew up in Carteret, graduating from St. Mary's High School in Perth Amboy. In 1975, she moved to Holmdel with her husband, Peter, to raise their three children. Mrs. LaBracio worked as a Human Resource Specialist for CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, for 18 years. In addition to that occupation, she also worked with her husband in the operation of Peter LaBracio Trucking and Grading for over 40 years.

Last night Moms name was engraved at the Cancer institute of New Jersey. As you go up the main stairs on the left side wall moms name will always be there for everyone to see. Hopefully seeing moms name will remind people of Mom and how mom was so courageous with her battle with cancer.
Mom truly was an inspiration to others battling cancer.

Mom, with every passing year I realize how much Ive learned from you. Your kindness taught me how to trust others, and your sense of humor kept me from taking things too seriously. By sticking up for whats right, you taught me the power of truth. Most of all, by loving me, you gave me confidence. For these and all other life lessons you taught by example. I'll be forever grateful, mom!! Happy Mothers day! Miss you!! Love Tray!

Easter 2009: Mom, Today we celebrated Easter at home and everything went great except that the whole day something felt terribly wrong. Every time I looked for you, you were not their. You are dearly missed by all of us and it hurts so much to celebrate holidays without you here. Love you and miss you,Todd

Mom, I learned about love from you, watching your caring ways. I learned about joy from you In fun-filled yesterdays. From you I learned forgiving of faults both big and small. I learned what I know about living from you, as you gave life your all. The example you set is still with me I'd never want any other. I'm thankful for all that you taught me, And I'm blessed to have called you my Mother. Love, Todd
