Memorial
This site is dedicated to Norman DeVore. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was also a friend to everyone including his family. He was a hard worker. He worked at the same job for 32 years, and never complained. He suffered 9 heart attacks and many other health problems, and survived them all. He never complained of pain, or misery at all. He was a true hero. There are not many people left in the world like him. He would have given a stranger the shirt off of his back. He was a giving, loving neighbor. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He doted on his dogs and would have given his last dime to make sure they were happy. He will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU
When I must leave you for a little while
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years
But start out bravely with a gallant smile;
And for my sake and in my name,
Live on and do all things the same,
Feed not your loneliness on empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful ways,
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer
And I in turn will comfort you
And hold you near;
And never, never be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you in the sky!

And hold you near;
And never, never be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you in the sky!
