Hi Mom,
It is almost 3 years since you have gone and I miss you more now then ever, you have new great grandchildren the boys are all married now and you would be proud of them.
I miss all the stories your told us and I try to remember them for my grandchildren, the one that stumps me is the one about Give Me Back My Bones that was my favorite one and I sit with Bianca and try and tell the story, but I can't say it like you did I really miss your stories.
I miss all the crafts you taught me I miss all the traveling to one reunion to the next one Most of All I miss you.
Love You Always Lisa

Today we walked, Lisa, Warren, Dannielle and myself for the Memory Walk 2006 honoring Aunt Noreen. What an amazing event, People were very nice, informative and friendly. There was a very good turn-out. The walk was 3 miles around the campus of the company that develops and creates the Educational Tests. What a beautiful place!. And beautiful People. Lisa made shirts for each of us with the Memory Walk 2006 logo and Aunt Noreen's photo. They were perfect. The walk was 2 laps around a 1.5 mile track. I forgot my sneakers in NH so I borrowed George's sneakers (he does not know yet for he was laid up with a bug and sore throat). I made it one lap when Lisa said I could stop there if I .... so I did before she finished her sentence. They had Free Coffee going to waste so I kept that warm while they made the final lap.

It was a wonderful time. I really felt honored to be included. Thank you Lisa and Warren.

After the walk Dannielle, Lisa and I met a wonderful friend of Lisa's at the Hospice unit and we gathered around Aunt Noreen, prayed, sent good energy and blessings. after about 20 minutes Aunt Noreen awoke and spoke with us for about 5 minutes or so took some water, said she loved us and that she was tired and wanted to sleep. She SMILED and drifted back off to sleep.

Today was a good day.

Here in New Jersey with Aunt Norren, Lisa and Family. What a emotional rollercoaster. It is quite the gift to be blessed with the experience of Mother and daughter.

Mom gives the gift of life love and family and as the years roll on to see a daughter not give back but add to the gift by providing her mom with life, love and family. The bond aunt Norreen and Lisa have is "special" to say the least.

They have their own codes for communications,

They have their inside jokes and smirks

They share a look between them them screams I love you, I am so Proud of you and more proud to know you!! I appreciate you for each and every day. I am here for you and you for me.

I feel gifted to have witnessed these looks, feelings, laughs and tears they have between them. We all go through our days knowing we love someone like that but do we ever take the opportunity to let that person know how much.

They know, I do not have to tell them. They should know already. I will tell them tomorrow. Someday we will take the time to talk, hug, laugh and cry together.

Just when is that day?

Have you set a date, time and place?

If today was our/ their last day would you have any regrets?

I would like to thank Aunt Norreen for sharing this part of her life with me to help me understand the "Circle of Life" a little better. And also thank Lisa for showing me that no matter how difficult life becomes, that our Love for one another will always provide us the strength and support to do what initially appeared to be the impossible.

I am so proud to be a member of the Brown Family How about you?

Love Cathy-Jo
