When i was a young boy, I always looked up to my father and noticed how my dad would help other people. He would care about us kids more than anything in the world. Often we would spend tons of time playing lazer tag and would have tons of fun doing it. I always loved spending time with my dad and wanted to achieve a good centred home in the gospel. I will always remember his smile he had on his face each christmas morning when he saw everyone open gifts he had and didnt have much gifts for himself. One night i asked him "dad what about your gifts? My dad smiled and told me that i was the most important gift he had ever received and no other gift could ever beat that.

One thing about my Uncle Mike many will say is that he always had a genuine enthusiasm for life... I will always remember your laughter and great smile! You will be missed!

When I was younger I remember when dad would take us on hikes all 4 of us kids. It was his way of spending time with us. One time while we were hiking we went on a short hike up to the cliffs by the saw mill in Prince George. There was a fence blocking off the cliff so that people wouldn't fall or climb down. Dad was a dare devil at times and this time he decided that it would be fun to climb down the cliff that was pretty much straight sand. Well all I remember is me refusing to go down and watching dad slowly make his way down the bank to the highway below. I thought that it was so uncool but the boys didn't infact one of them joined him and then they climbed back up. We thought it was a blast especially when afterwards dad took us to dairy queen and bought us all ice cream.
