Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there... I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow...
I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain...
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you waken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of gentle birds in circling flight...
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry—
I am not there... I did not die...

Remembered Joy
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief—
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.

May you find eternal peace and always stand in the light of the stars above. I will always look to the right of the moon, too the farthest star, and follow it until morning.
From one music prodigy to another, Thanks for the Dream!

RIP Michael Jackson

You were so unquestionably loved
Yet so often misunderstood
So much magic for the world to behold
So much suspicion cloaked under a hood

You gave the world all you could give
No childhood for you to live
You knew you were special and this was your fate
Forever realizing the steep price you would pay

Who is the media to try to take away your spark
To forget the good and show only the dark
So eager to look for all the bad
Not realizing the treasure that we once had

They took away an innocence
With all of their lies
To destroy the love
Of a light so bright

The words that he wrote
Told us who he was
Then he was turned on
By all the media buzz

Have you ever really listened
To the words of his songs?
We look past the good
And focus on the wrongs

Do you know what drove him
To be who he was?
He was born with a special gift
That could only come from above

The message he left us
Will forever live and never be gone
When you give love as a gift
You give something that will go on and on

Gentle and tender like a soft spoken hymn
People will forever wonder at him
So much interest now that he’s gone
Where were you when it was going all wrong?

We all grew up with the Jackson five
It’s up to us to keep his dream alive
He only wanted us to love each other
To give a high five and help out our brother
