mark aka Mr.Savotine, one of the first guys i met here on the internet. for me not knowing nothing about a pc ending up in the same room that mark hung out in was quit the experience of meeting new people from all over the world, for not knowing mark he always made you feel welcome and for sure loved to laugh & made people laugh as well. what a sence of humor. at one ppoint i lost track of him in chat, then a few years later i met up with a few old friends, in a room & imagine that there was savotine making friends with new people & cutting up the room for a good laugh. To a guy i never met in person but made me feel like part of the family. iI met you once mark & i;m sure we will meet agian and you'll have a warm welcome for me as you always have. I want to share one other thing, we live here and now but our spirits and souls live on forever!

I knew Mark from grades 7-12. such a nice guy, and always so humble. I used to love playing basketball with him, and we always cut up and laughed ALOT. He struck me,in hindsight, as someone you only heard good things about him, and growing up where we did,at the time we did, says volumes about his character. I'm sorry that I missed services, and sorry for your loss.I'm quite sure that most will agree that the he left his part of the world a little better off than when he entered it.God Bless

Mark was one of my very best friends. We attended Madison Jr High and Sparkman High School together. He was a great friend and even though I've not seen him in 15 years, I really will miss him.

Mark and I worked together for two or three years after high school. Those were the best of times. Just in the last couple of years, we would send each other emails recalling the old days that we worked together.

I remember when he and several of our friends went to Daytone Beach together for four or five years in a row. Mark always carried his stereo and record collection. He would place huge speakers on the room balcony and everyone nearby on the beach and poolside were rocking to his music.

Mark was also a good dancer. We spent many a nights at the disco. This was all before either of us got married. I remember seeing him doing the "Bump" once in Daytona Beach where he almost knocked the girl off the dance floor. It was really funny; Mark was a big guy.

I also enjoyed playing many sports with Mark. We used to bowl, water ski, shoot pool, and play basketball. We played a lot of basketball. Mark was very good. The last time I remember seeing Mark is when he came over to my house and shot basketball about 15 years ago.

I will miss Mark and truly regret we didn't see each other much over the last few years.

It saddens me to have lost someone like Mark that I've grown to like, and appreciate for the short time I had known him. He was always a lighthearted and friendly soul, and will be truly missed by everyone that could call him friend. I don't like to grieve but would rather remember Mark in celebration of his life and the joy that he brought so many people both online and off. Through this passage of life it is all but a journey of souls, once at the end we depart this plane of existence, and arrive in a better world, I'll be seeing you one Day Mark, and when I do, we're gonna party hardy dude! Keep cranking out the tunes wherever you are man!! Love Ya!

Mark, there is a big hole where you stood. There is a good story there I'm sure. I know you are in heaven telling stories to St. Peter. I hope you find Feed and he got his ears back. I will miss your laugh, your stories, your charm, your caustic wit, and you. Most of all I will miss that huge heart you tried so hard to hide.

Wow, how do I start. Mark was one of my very best friends since our jr year in high school, we did everything together through out most of our lives. He was one of those guys that was always happy and cheerful. Like most friends we lost touch for a while as we married, divorced remarried and so on. But Mark and I reconnected and stayed in touch regularly for the last 10 years or so. He always called me to help him with his computer problems. All I can say about Mark is he was one of the good guys. The kind of friend you want to have. I'll miss you big guy and my life is richer having known you.

I knew Mark by the nickname Savo. He was a great guy, as cheerful day in and day out as anybody I ever met online. He introduced me to my favorite singer/songwriter, Jamey Johnson, and I'll always thank him for that. It had been most of a year since I had chatted with him and it saddens me deeply that I didn't keep in better touch.
