Memorial
This is a memorial for my grandmother, she passed away on June 12, 2008. She was such an amazing woman, she was my hero, The one that I looked up to in life. She had a big heart and loved everyone. she was very Independent, and stood up for what she believed in. and never let anyone put her down.

THIS IS THE POEM WE READ AT HER SERVICE: When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little...but not to long, and not with your head bowed to low Remember the love we once shared, Miss me... But let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone It's all a apart of the Master's plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me...But Let Me Go

My grandmother was a truly amazing person, She was brilliant, compassionate and outgoing so full of humor. Always making those around her smile. when i think of her, I think of her warm embrace. on my bad days she would hold me and comfort me. Grandma would wrap me in her arms and protect me from the rest of the world and make me feel that everything was going to be alright. Even in her hospital bed, holding her hand and listening to her soft breath, i wanted to be held by those safe, loving arms. but i just held her hands and whispered "I love you grandma....I love you" The hard things i ever had to do was tell her "it's ok grandma close your eyes, it's ok to go to heaven now".. it was so hard because in my heart i wanted her to stay here with me, but i knew she could not go on anymore. Her body may be gone, but she lives on, in the deepest fiber of our being. Her life and blood and memory live on in us, Her children and grandchildren We're her legacy and life's work and I am so proud and grateful everyday to belong to such a noble blood. We are saying goodbye to a sweet and wonderful woman, My Grandmother In remembrance of my grandma I'd like to share a few of my thoughts and memories which in some ways defines the kind of person she was, and how she would want to be remembered. My grandma adored her dog "misty" always thinking of "her baby" before herself. Grandma always took great pride in her apperance, She was such a beautiful and youthful looking woman. She loved her family and friends, and always knew how to have fun in life, she was a woman who perfered to give of herself and receive nothing in return, her generous nature was one of her greatest gifts to us all. As grandma looks down from heaven today she'd wish us all happiness and to remember the good times we spent together. Grandma I love you, and miss you so very much!!
