Happy Mother's Day Mom. I miss you more than words can begin to adequately express. When the shock and disbelief subside, they are replaced by sad, sad sadness... Tears and more tears. Then, there is a moment of peace, remembering that this is a temporary transition and you are exactly where you planned to be. Yay for you! Celebration Then the whole process starts all over again. Yay for me. And on it goes.

I miss Lori. It is not easy to even say how much! I love her and I wish that I could say that again to her. Lori, Steve and I are very fortunate to have had a loving and close relationship with each other over the years. Don't get me wrong, there have been ups and downs, but, nothing to stop us from caring about each other or loving each other. Her life may have been short by some standards, but it was a full and loving adventure and she is greatly missed by all of us. Everyone says she is in a better place and I know in my heart that that is true, but it still hurts and I miss you very much Lori. Smile down on us whenever you can and we will smile back. Love you, Nica

As a former Girl Scout of Troop 1102, student from St. Brendan's and friend of your daughter's Meg and Monica, thank you for everything you did for us growing up and for leaving the world a better place than you found it. You will be missed by many. Rest in peace until we meet again.

Bob, Monica, Meg, Julie and Paul,
I never had the honor of meeting Lori, and I wish I had. In the last several days I have learned about her from Monica who kindly shared her love for your mother with me. I feel a heartfelt connection with you because as soon as I learned about your mom's love of reading, I told Monica about my bedtimes with my mother reading to me and how she inspired me with Pajama Program for the children we serve. Your mom passed on my birthday and I believe there is a very special bond between us. My maternal grandmother was also named Margaret and I have always believed she is my angel. Thank you for introducing your mother to all of us - her life has now touched even more children.

Meg and family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. I remember your mom and a sweet woman is what comes to mind. Reading Monica's words describing her only confirms that one hundred fold. Let your faith and knowing God has called your mom home help ease the pain of the moment and bring peace to you in the days ahead. May God comfort you and give you the strength to smile as you reminisce her life well lived.
Peace be with you,

Blessings and prayers to your families. Lori is a beautiful woman with a huge heart to share. She was always willing to help Julie with our children when she watched them, and remembered all of the special days that we celebrated and sent us something to remember them by. I was always so surprised to get her gifts and trinkets as they were unexpected, but honored to know that someone thought so much of our family to remember us in this way. She did have a way of making you feel special! We will miss her lovely smile. We know that she was your rock Julie, as you spoke of her in that way every day. We will be here for you when you need us.

Dear Bob, Monica, Meg, Julie and Paul,
I was saddened to hear that Lori had passed away. She has been in my thoughts and prayers since I received the news. It is a great loss for all of you. I have treasured memories of when Lori worked as my secretary. She had a calmness and goodness about her in all she did. She loved all of you very much and always looked forward to when she would be living in Colorado with you. God bless all of you at this difficult time.
Love, Mary

My thoughts are with you, Bob and family.
All the good times we had keep flooding back.
Memories of growing up together, especially those family times such as Merker's Day, now are treasured so much.
Love to everyone,
