This site is dedicated to Lorenzo Devoe.
Lorenzo Devoe was a kind, loving man who had much potential in this world. He could bring a smile to anyone's face, and was very charming and charismatic. He was very intelligent, and people often went to him for advice. Though soon he began to be the one who needed to go to someone, but he was a very private person and wanted to be strong for the people he loved. On May 15nth, 2010, he left the apartment telling his beloved fiance that he was getting some food or money. But he was gone for hours, and somewhere between midnight and two am he arrived at the George Washington Bridge and jumped. He could no longer stand the pain of his past, his present, and his seemingly unpromising future. He was in debt to the IRS, and it prevented him from joining the Army. He never wanted to go to the Army before, but he felt that was the only way he could pay back his debt and take care of his fiance. He felt like everything he did failed and he couldn't stand it any longer. Despite his sickness, he was still worried about helping others and making them smile. He will be missed dearly by the people that was his family. Lorenzo considered anyone close to him family despite blood. Family was a very important word to him.
