*i still cry...sometines...when i remember you*

another parishioner of long-standing...
lisa rene pappas has died. many of you who have been in our parish for awhile often heard her name mentioned in our prayers for the sick. lisa was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer when she was in the seventh grade. she died at the age of 22. in between that time she was in and out of remission and had numerous surgeries and treatments. yet she attended providence high school where she graduated with honors. despite her illness lisa was a girl with lots of life...
fun-loving and a person who made friends easily especially, when she was in high school. she had a great tenacity and strength and was determined to go on with life. she did not want anyone to feel sorry for her. although the death of lisa
has brought great sorrow to her family & friends.
our parish has been blessed by her...
*courage and faith*
and the good she did will...
*live on*
