Time passes, our children grow; new grandchildren have been born with another grandchild on the way. Life changes, my day to day hopes and dreams evolve. I think of you everyday, looking to the future as you would want; but I never forget our past. Sometimes I feel you close by me, but I still miss you so.

Happy Birthday My Love; I will be thinking of you on your day! I know you are smiling down on us; as I smile when I look up to you.

We were friends from High School and I'm sorry to say lost touch along the way. But there were many times I remembered her and her family and what a wonderful person she was. There are some people you meet along life's highway that will always be a part of your life and Linda was definitely part of mine. I loved her smile and energetic ways. She was a real treasure and I'm sure God's glad to have her back in his fold.

I miss you, Linda!

I knew Linda from high school. She became a part of my life as two of my daughter's step mom. Her love walk was even evident then as the same storm swept through her life as had mine eariler. She was a ray of light in turmoil. I looked to her as an example and watched her rise above the adversity of life. We are all examples to others in our life, either to look toward or to turn away from. I am very thankful to have known Linda not only as a friend but a second mom to my babies. She is in Heaven now, doing what Linda always did...cheering those in her life on to a better life! Love and miss you, hope to see you one day! Thanks for all the precious memories!

I’ll lend you for a little while, a child of mine, God said
For you to love the while she lives and mourn for when she’s gone.
It may be six or seven years, or forty-two or three
But will you, till I call her back, take care of her for me?

She’ll bring her charms to gladden you and should her stay be brief
You’ll always have her memories as a solace in your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught below I want this child to learn.

I’ve looked this whole world over in my search for teachers true
And from the folk that crowd Life’s lane I have chosen you.
Now will you give her all your love and not think the labour vain,
Nor hate me when I come to take this lent child back again?

I fancy that I heard them say “Dear God, thy will be done”.
For all the joys this child will bring the risk of grief we’ll run.
We will shelter her with tenderness, we’ll love her while we may
And for all the happiness we’ve ever known, we’ll ever grateful stay.
But should the angels call her much sooner than we’d planned
We will brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand."

To be changed so profoundly by Linda is a gift, to cherish and remember makes Linda immortal. We lived large, we loved larger; it was our time and we didn't squander it. So much of life is left to the "could of had". Linda helped me, grew me, shaped me and made me the person that I always hoped I could be. No woulda, coulda, shoulda in our life. She wants no stopping, no holding back, but living as she lived, loving as she loved, giving as she gave. It's hard to live up to, but I'm all in!

I love you honey, I hope I still make you smile!
