Memorial
Lawrence Gilb was a fun-loving, happy man. He loved all animals, and was a shoe freak. He was always worried about getting them resoled. he was born in January of 1941 and died in may of 2010. Cats, Dogs, and Wrestling were some of his favorites hobbies. He was always smiling and he had a way of making everyone feel happy. He loved to laugh, and we will miss that very much.

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

My Uncle Larry was the best at telling stories. He remembered almost everything that happened to him, and those were his stories. He told us happy stories, and he told us silly stories. Sometimes the stories he told us were outright hilarious. His brain was like a sponge, soaking up everything in front of him. He was a history genius. He knew dates, people, and events. When he would tell us about past historical issues, it was very interesting and amazing to listen to him. He was a great uncle and a wonderful person. I hope we can all learn from him and live our lives better.

Larry made me remember how important it is to live life without worrying. He always looked at life through the eyes of a child , and that is what I will always try to do. We will miss your kind spirit Uncle Larry!!!! rest in peace......
