This site is dedicated to Kristen White.

Kristen Ruth Goode White, age 51, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 after a four year battle with cancer. She participated in various research trials that continue to benefit many living with the same cancer.

She was born to Frances and the late Robert Goode, July 4, 1960, in Indianapolis, IN. After graduating from Ball State University, Kristen built a successful and rewarding career in finance while living in Indianapolis, IN and later Columbus, OH. Kristen then married the late Paul Pegg, with whom she had her beautiful daughter, Kaitlin Pegg.

In 2000 she married Jack White, working alongside him while they expanded their family business, Simply Mulch, along with numerous other business endeavors. Kristen loved spending time on their farm with all her animals and at their vacation home in Ft. Meyers, FL. Kristen, Jack and their girls enjoyed traveling abroad, including many white, sandy beaches. Kristen loved life every day and lived it to the fullest. She was a beloved wife, mother and dear friend to many. She will be greatly missed.

Kristen is survived by her husband, Jack White; daughters, Kaitlin Pegg, Callie (Chris) Gerhardt, Katie Drake and granddaughter Fiona Drake; mother, Frances Goode; six siblings, Michal Goode (Tom CarMichael), Andrea (Malcom) Frost, Joe (Jodi) Goode, Abbe (Dodd) Gray, David (Lisa) Goode, Josh (Heather) Goode and nine nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in memory of Kristen White.

Services will be held at J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Chapel, 820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY on January 14 with visitation at 11:00am and a memorial service at 1:00pm.

"The very first time I met Kristen I knew right away I was going to like her! There was just something about her that made you feel good. Besides being cute, having a wonderful smile, and a beautiful heart, she was just plain nice. Yep...she was a keeper :)
Kristen, I could not have asked for a better step mom for my daughters. Katie and Callie were so lucky to have you. You loved and treated them like your own, and for that I will always be eternally grateful. We were truly blessed when you and Kaitlin came into our lives. Thank you for your love and kindness.

"Kristen was one of the first people I met when I moved to Delaware, Ohio. We became friends instantly. I cherish all the fun times we had together. Kristen was always a very postive person even during the toughest times of her life. I wish I could be just half the person she was. She will truly be missed. I am so happy that she met Jack and had such a wonderful life with him. He truly made her happy. Kaitlyn, I am so sorry for your loss.
