Josh and I lived around the corner from each other growing up. Our birthdays are a week apart. He was a great friend and threw a good party. I will truly miss him and his light. May it always glow. May you be at peace and know I am grateful I had an opportunity to know you.

Josh was just an all around great Human. I have great memories of our soccer days together. Over the years I would occasionally run into Josh and he always had a smile on his face. He will be missed but not forgotten. My condolences to his family.

At Daniel 12:13, the prophet Daniel was assured of the resurrection and this promise was repeated again for all of us in John 11:25, where Jesus promised "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." And thus, the Creator has promised all of us the resurrection and no more mourning and no more pain (Revelation 21:4) May God's loving kindness comfort you and help you through this very sad time (Psalms 29:11)

It has been, by far, the most difficult and painful 3 months of my entire life. Bro, I miss you so much. We all do. It is my only peace contemplating that you are at peace in the universe. A friend shared the following link about grief around the holidays. Sending this read along with warmth to all this winter. Hug your loved ones & find things to be grateful for each day. Hope to see you in February!

I have fun memories of hanging out with Josh during our college years. Wish we could drunkenly give eachother Mohawk haircuts again. Josh is a great guy, gone too soon.

I think of Josh almost every day. When something reminds me of him it is with a mixture of fond memories and sadness. My last visit with him was over Labor Day. He was playing soccer with my young son in the backyard. They were having so much fun. The sun was shining, we were all laughing - it is a wonderful memory. Josh was an amazing friend. He always kept in touch. We would get together for coffee or beers and get caught up. I would tell him about being a new parent, he would crack me up with his stories of dating. I'm still processing it all but what I know is Josh was a good man, a great friend, a connector, an adventurer, a fun seeker and an amazing dad to Dakota. He made a positive impact on my life and he will remain in my heart. ❤️️

What an inspiring person! My favorite memories were from 8th and 9th grade. At his 9th grade birthday party that I attended with Tiffany Hutton(Roby), I still remember the funny card that we got for him and being so thrilled to attend. Also his 8th grade graduation speech about trash can attire to prepare us for being the low men on the HS totem pole. He made such a difference from such a young age!

My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. At Acts 24:15 and Psalm 37:29, our loving God puts before us the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones soon and living forever with them right here on the earth. May this promise bring you much comfort and hope during this difficult time.

It’s so heart-warming for me to read these messages and know Josh was seen in the same way I always saw him – Full of a positive life force, good will and generosity. He taught me to reach out to others and nurture connections, to give of oneself without expectations, to harbor no ill will when others don’t reciprocate and to be strong in the face of adversity. We spent a great deal of time together and there was never a dull moment. I will miss his companionship, his perspectives and his dating stories. Grieving sucks but knowing his life was robust with the love of family and friends and the excitement of travel and adventures makes it minutely more bearable…

I worked in the office at PHS and remember him so well for his ready smile and helping attitude as ASB President plus he was one of my daughter's Krissy Klemm Letcher dear friends. I hired him for $50 to d j Krissy's surprise 16th birthday and got more than my moneys worth He was talented and fun and I am glad he was able to fill his short life with so many wonderful adventures. The world was better for him being in it.

Still in shock to hear the news of Josh's passing and completely broken-hearted by it. He was such an awesome guy to hang out with in and outside of business. I owe him a debt of gratitude for the opportunities and advice he has offered me throughout our relationship. As much as we've all tried, there aren't enough nice things you can say of him - one of the most generous, down-to-earth people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Josh, last we spoke, you told me the big news of your new job. I am happy our last conversation was such an exciting one! RIP

I was a Paradise Jr High and High School friend of Josh's and my mom Nancy Hutton was his sister Beth's teacher. We have such wonderful memories of Josh, but my favorite is when our moms set us up as dates for our first middle school dance:) I also remember how he started a DJ gig which provided a lot of great entertainment in HS. Josh was such a talented man who will be greatly missed! Our prayers and hugs go out to his sweet family! Love, Tiffany Roby and Nancy Hutton

I worked with Josh early on as a tech taking care of some of his events. After coming to Seattle I got to work with him every day. Josh's dedication and commitment to the client is a defining trait for me. Knowledgeable, caring, and diligent. He is greatly missed.

we did not know each other very well. I had the opportunity to talk with him at the last reunion and am so glad I did. He will be greatly missed.

Josh was a true friend. He always was supportive and positive to me even when he was feeling discouraged. Even though I only saw Josh in person about once a year, I loved knowing he was in the world as a truly kind and loving person. He is already so deeply missed.

I was so sadden to hear of Josh's passing. I've known Josh for over 17 years, first as a colleague, then as a good friend. We would try to get together whenever I was in Seattle and catch up on what each other was up to. I know he was excited about a new job opportunity and we were wishing him all the luck with his endeavors. I will dearly miss Josh. He was genuinely sincere, humble and one of the nicest people I knew. A true gem of a person and someone we lost way too soon.

Josh is my cousin, but in the last few years he became my friend. I always knew what a cool and special guy he is but his friendship the last few years is one I will truly miss. I laugh a little when I think about Josh, when we were kids, he was my first "crush". Cousins yes, but I knew then what a great guy he was and would become! He will be greatly missed. I wish we had more time. Love you, Josh.

Deeply saddened by this news. Josh was a great friend and colleague. Personally and professionally there are very few like Josh. His work ethic and attention to detail was impeccable. His friendship was always unconditional, I could always count on Josh. Never forget our last minute Las Vegas trip. So many memories. One that always sticks in my head, sitting at lunch one day and Josh received a phone call, one of the security gaurds at work walked in and yells, “I have a phone call for the Josh”. Rest In Peace my good friend. I will always remember “The Josh”

I had the good fortune to work with Josh and get to know him as a person. As a colleague, he was extremely hard-working and incredibly diligent - but above all he was always the consummate professional. He was able to instill a sense of that calm confidence which endeared him to clients and co-workers alike. He was widely admired and respected for the way he conducted himself in business. Personally, we became good friends and shared a lot of great memories outside of work. Josh would always keep in touch, even when he was traveling around the world, to share his experiences with his friends. He was always outgoing, positive and genuinely interested in what you were doing. When I last spoke with him, he was the happiest I'd heard him in years. That will be my lasting memory of him. My condolences to his family and all of his friends, he will be sorely missed and forever remembered...

Josh was a friend, A coworker, and a great man. My heart is heavy upon this news and my blessing goes to his family. I knew Josh for many years and I can't say I met a nicer man. He was always interested in how people were doing and his genuine attitude and dedication to his work were matched by none. Josh, RIP my friend.

Josh was a special young man. I've known him and his family since the early 80's. He always put his whole heart into whatever he was doing. He was an asset to every business for which he worked and to every individual whom he befriended. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Knowing Josh was an honor. Working with him was a blessing. Josh helped take our company into a new level of professional Audio Visual services. It wasn't easy, but he never gave up.

It was always fun traveling with Josh - whether downtown Seattle for a quick meeting that inevitably ended up with great hole in the wall I swear only he knew about but would end up being amazing, or across the country where he knew just where to go for that perfect late night bite since of course by the time everything was setup to his approval, that's all that would still be open 😉.

It's fun to read here how many countries Josh has been to, I had no idea, and just figured out why that is, Josh is an incredibly humble man. I don't think I ever heard him boast of anything - he was more interested in hearing about your weekend than telling you about his - although something tells me his was probably far more interesting.

Josh - we miss you. Thank you for your hard work, your professionalism, and your kind heart. Until we meet again.

I'm so sorry to Josh's family and loved ones for this loss. He was such a genuine person, even in high school. That's probably my best memories of him, being in student government together. But in a small community like paradise, everyone feels like family. Prayers of comfort for those close to him during this difficult time.

This was a sudden loss for all of us. I still haven't wrapped my head around Josh not being here with us. I still catch myself thinking that Josh and I would go see that concert or that he would want to hit up a Sounders game. But I would turn on my car radio and a Depeche Mode song would be the first one playing. And I would have a happy thought of him, knowing that he is still with us.
