Dear Ana & Jack - What lovely thoughts and words for your beautiful son! Praise God for answered prayer for Miwa, Liam and yourselves. You are right, when the family chain is broken, we are broken, and life here is never the same. BUT - our life with Jesus and our loved ones someday in Heaven will be eternally incomparable to anything we knew, now know or will ever know here. JESUS is our HOPE, and JOY does come in the morning. ONLY GOD could moves us from such deep mourning to such a glorious morning! From mourning to morning HIS mercy I see. I love you two for eternity - Dodie

I NEVER MEET JOEY, BUT I KNOW HIS PARENTS.I HAVE WATCHED THEM PRAISE GOD IN THE WHILE GOING THROUGH TRIALS,HEART BREAK AND HARD CHOICES THAT LIFE GIVES US. THEY BOTH HAVE ALWAYS RAISED THE BAR IN MY LIFE. GIVEN ME A EXAMPLE OF JESUS IN ACTION. I ALSO AM A PARENT OF A CHILD WITH JESUS. ONE DAY EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY ONE WILL CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD..SANDRA

In my memories, Joey is always moving. Whether he was coming in or going out of the house as I was picking Sadie up, riding his bike up the sidewalk or hanging with kids his age at a church dinner, when I close my eyes and think of him he is always moving. He was quite a young man who accomplished much in such a short time.

Joey was a firecracker for sure. Always on the move. I remember when he was about three and he and his family were visiting at our home. All the kids were playing back in my son's room. It was Joey and his three brothers and my two children. Joey was about three. Jack, Anna, Roy and I were in the den, talking and having coffee (as usual) and all of a sudden here comes Joey with a baseball bat with a big grin on his face, about ready to wipe the place out, he just came swinging. Of course, his momma jumped up and took it away just in time. He was ready to play baseball, HA.

What precious memories Roy and I have of Joey. I'll never forget his little smile when I went in and was looking at him in his crib, and how he fact lit up and had that big smile. He certainly was loved by friends, relatives, precious mom and dad, and his three big brothers.
