John Gilbert Lassaline

April 22, 1935-November 26, 2010. Loving father to Diane (Mark) Tiedt, Jeffrey (Heidi), Marty, Denise, Chris (Nancy), Carol (Jed) Smith. Brother of William, Larry and Lucille. John had Thirteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He worked in automotive manufacturing for most of his adult life, along with owning a retail clothing and outdoor gear store in Northern Michigan. He spent many years vacationing with his family and friends up north at Point Nipigon, where many fond memories remain. He will be remembered for his penchant for fun and enjoying a good laugh. He will be missed by those lives he touched and the good times that were shared over the years. A private memorial service and mass in his honor will be arranged at a later date for family.

Wonderful Grandpa

I have so many good memories, Ill remember them forever.. Like How you wouldn't let us play the Nintendo until we read the entire manual.. or when you told us that story then scared the crap out of me with the Lobster..

I didn't know you, Mr. Lassaline, but I know your son Chris. He's a good man and a good friend to me. Through him, you have brightened my life -- and the lives of many others, I'm sure -- so I thank you and wish you peace.
