I was so sorry to learn of John's death. I got to know him when he filled the pulpit of First Unitarian Church of Alton, Illinois some years ago. My heartfelt condolences to Karen and other members of his family. Rest assured that I will never forget John!

John was an esteemed Leader of the St. Louis Ethical Society. We reached our highest membership levels during his tenure. No small part of the increase can be attributed to his lectures, carefully constructed and caringly delivered, and which always contained intellectual and spiritual value.
He officiated at my daughter's wedding, and he was a true friend and counselor to me upon the tragic death of my son. I will be forever grateful for his kind support.
My condolences to all his family. You are in Ginger's, Kevin's and my thoughts.

Hi all ... we'll share any comments left here. John wanted his memorial to be shared throughout his worldwide family, and therefore online. Michael
