"If your scared, then say your scared!"......ones of joe's favorite reassuring ways to let yah know he was right there with you, no matter what. Wether it be putting back and ice cold Rolling Rock or worrying about haw bad you were getting beat in the 3rd game of horsehoes, he was more than man enough to tell you it was just a game. Joe shined light in every direction he stood, walked, smiled and through every word he said. Generosity was defined by a man with a heart bigger than any football stadium, longer than any arrow, and heavier than any fish. A man with the simplist loves that was more than enough to keep him going just because it was the smallest things that he loved the most. Digging his toes deep in the sand, standing and just letting the cool ocean breeze roll off his back while casting one last time before dark, still smiling cause he always knew that tomorrow was another day. How many times does anyone ever get the opportunity to tell someone how they really feel and not hold back. I think that men like joe were put on this earth to bring out the best in everyone there around, and he did just that and so much more.

I love you. And I love Uncle Tony for making this in your honor. I'm serving my country, Uncle Joe. I'm doing great things that I know you're proud of me for. I miss you, and I hope you're feeling okay in Paradise, watching me grow into a fearless young adult. I continue to learn from you even though you no longer walk with me, and that just goes to show how completely fantastic you truly are. I will never give up. I will never stop being your little girl.
