Meet Jock and Ivi when they taught the first ET course here in the states.. Was able to tag along and learn more while they stayed in PA... Smiles when I think of them both.. This was before Ivi's english was fluent and he would have her say words that came out sounding like a 4 letter words.. Such a gentleman I enjoyed his stories and wise views of the world... Thank you both xxxooo

A super-nice person to be around; a genuine horse lover; a gifted/famous one who doesn't keep you at a distance ... We didn't spend that much time together, but it was enough to grow affection.
I'm sure you're doing great, and hope to see you again. Ciao !

I was looking through books of mine and found my workbook from workshop 1-4 and was remembering both Jock and Ivana. I told Jock that I was privileged to have been taught by the best. and humbly, Jock said that he wasn't the best. But I beg to differ. That was back in 1990's in a Pennsylvania countryside we had that class. Good memories. Thanks again for your wonderful contribution to a healthier, happier life for all who choose to have such. My sincere gratitude!!

I celebrate your life and passion every time i do a 'move' on my horses.

Cheers to you in heaven! I hope you find my heart horses in the green fields there and dance with them.

How time flies, it doesn't seem like a year has gone by.

Jock, there has been such a void since you left us, which is difficult to fill. You were such a special character, and one who cheered us up when we were down.

We all hope that you are with Ivana every day, helping her get to grips with things, and keeping us all in line.

God Bless you for giving us all such a wonderful gift, and for Ivana carrying on the work you started.

I am sure you are in everyone's thoughts more often than you realise.

Jock and Ivana, I know today is a special time for remembrance but you can be sure that throughout the rest of the year family members, friends and herds of grateful equines the world over are remembering you in their thoughts and prayers. Not a single day goes by that I dont think of you both. Jock, your words of wisdom will always be my guide.

Jock didn't write his name on the sand for the waves to wash it away.

Nor did he write his name in the sky for the wind to blow it away.

Jock wrote his name in the hearts of the people and animals he touched.

That’s where it will stay.

Love you Jock wherever you are

Jock, what can we say. You were only in our lives for a very short time, but we miss you immensely. Seeing you standing on the terrace, watching your beloved Ivana working on the grounds, was a sight to behold (and give cheek about) but we miss that sight. I miss your cheeky phone calls calling me "daughter" - ha ha, only a few years difference. Your soulmate really misses you, it has been really hard for her to carry on without you, but she is doing pretty well. Good days and bad days for Ivana. We will always remember you, Jocko, and will treasure the brief time we were in your life and the wonderful stories you shared with us each and every day (even though at first I thought you were full of rubbish) - something I found was not true. Rest in peace Jock, Kevin really misses your presence in our area, and we both will miss you more than we can say. A funny thing, considering our brief relationship. Farewell, dear Jock, the pain has now gone. Love Bev and Kevin. xxx

Dear Jock, Where does one start after 47years of friendship.
Since your passing Jock there has not been a day go by that we do not reflect on our time spent together. Our friendship started back in your wrestling days but after retirement from the ring our friendship continued to grow and in more recent years came to include your beautiful wife Ivana. Jock, you were one of a kind. Over the years you have touched the hearts of many and will be truly missed by those fortunate to have had contact with you. Although no longer with us in person we know your spirit will always remain. Say hi to Bob & Al from us both. We can see you all sitting on a big white fluffy cloud Bourbon in one hand and a cigar in the other keeping an eye on all below.
Until we meet again buddy.
Yours in friendship

Thanks Jock for opening my eyes to the fact that not all training issues are mental. If you have pain in the body you can end up with training Issues. Get rid of the pain and the training issue goes away. What a great system you developed to help horses in pain. Thanks for making a better world for horses and humans!! My Heart goes out to you Ivana for the loss of your beloved friend and partner. You will be in our prayers.

Butch and I send our love to Ivie, we have all lost a very wonderful and caring man. I learned how to look at horse's with more than just the eye of a veterinarian from Jock. Many, many horses were helped by this insightful man. His legacy will live on forever, with Eqine Touch students helping heal horses all over the world. I will miss Jock very much. He brought light and laughter to all that he touched.

Thank you Jock for teaching me and thank you for helping the horses. It was such a shock to hear the news - I really thought you would pull through. But I know you have left such an amazing and beautiful legacy. Thank you again for being a teacher, friend and mentor, and for being you and bringing your gift to the world. Thinking of you Ivana. x

Jock,
You changed my life and taught me so much. From a young Equine Touch student we shared a bond of fellow met officers. As you taught me to grow from a student to a practitoner to an Instrustor you also taught me to grow in confidence in myself.
You are a true angel who will be missed down here but treasured up there.

Whilst I was your student you gave me magic in my hands, whilst a practitioner and an instructor you gave me confidence to offer, and share, that magic. Whilst I was your coordinator you gave me many headaches but whilst you have been my friend you gave me love and allowed me to share the dream with you and your dear Ivana. Always remembered. x

It has been a real privilege to have known Jock and to be part of his amazing modalities. Whilst he may not be there in body to subject us to the infamous "slaughter alley" he will always be in my heart and ever present when I continue to use ET and VHT. Sent with a special warm hug to you Ivana at this sad time. Liz Coates
