Passionate, visionary, inspiring - Jock Ruddock made a big difference to many lives - the people and of course the animals. Jock was true advocate for the horse wellbeing and he will be remembered for his integrity and determination to do what he felt is right in his heart.

Since your passing Jock there has not been a day go by that we do not reflect on our time spent together. Our friendship started back in your wrestling days but after retirement from the ring our friendship continued to grow and in more recent years came to include your beautiful wife Ivana. Jock, you were one of a kind. Over the years you have touched the hearts of many and will be truly missed by those fortunate to have had contact with you. Although no longer with us in person we know your spirit will always remain. Say hi to Bob & Al from us both. We can see you all sitting on a big white fluffy cloud Bourbon in one hand and a cigar in the other keeping an eye on all below.

Seeing you standing on the terrace, watching your beloved Ivana working on the grounds, was a sight to behold (and give cheek about) but we miss that sight. I miss your cheeky phone calls calling me "daughter" - ha ha, only a few years difference. Your soulmate really misses you, it has been really hard for her to carry on without you, but she is doing pretty well. Good days and bad days for Ivana. We will always remember you, Jocko, and will treasure the brief time we were in your life and the wonderful stories you shared with us each and every day (even though at first I thought you were full of rubbish) - something I found was not true. Rest in peace Jock, Kevin really misses your presence in our area, and we both will miss you more than we can say. A funny thing, considering our brief relationship.
