Memorial
This site is dedicated to Jimmy Will.

Jimmy Will, 18, of Campo California, formerly of Hollister California, passed away after a car accident on Friday, May 6th, 2016. He was a senior at Mountain Empire High School and a member of the Redhawks football team.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Donations will go towards a scholarship fund in his name and donating to various sporting clubs that he played for as a teammate. Please note your preference in the donation including if you want any part to go to funeral arrangements, see donations tab above.

Join us in celebrating Jimmy’s life. Please "light a candle" and "sign the guest book" to share your memories of Jimmy with his family. Also share your photos and videos.

“Kind” is one word that best describes Jimmy. He was always willing to help someone out and gave his heart and time to do so. He was a good listener and a young man who lived life with all his heart. He was also a hard worker; a work ethic he carried into playing football, his first passion. Thank you to San Benito High School, Hollister Hay Balers for giving him his start in football.

Jimmy was a natural athlete and loved to do anything outdoors like fishing, mountain biking, and playing baseball. He would tell you that his favorite subject in school was early dismissal…so that he could go and play sports; insight into his sense of humor. He loved all music, especially rap music and was a Chargers fan.

Jimmy’s entire life was about smiling and having fun, while more importantly making those around him feel the same. Everyone can share a positive story/experience that they had with Jimmy. He was someone who made many, many, many friends and remained connected with them no matter where he was. We want to thank you for being his friend and sharing in his life.

Jimmy is survived by his loving parents Jamie Will, James and Maria Sanchez and Brandon Will; sisters, Faith Will, Calla Diaz, Vanessa, Marissa, Aliza and Jaime Sanchez; brothers, Cameron and Baron Will, Victor and Sonny Sanchez, and a large extended family who loved him very much.

“There is going to be a resurrection......” (Acts 24:15) The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. May Jehovah the God of all comfort comfort the Will family. You are in my prayers.

From the first day of summer practice I went to, to the last day you were here you were my greatest friend. Not once will I ever regret a time with you. From being late to practice because we stayed out hunting to long that morning, to just sitting in the car listening to music enjoying the moment. You were the greatest leader this football team will ever have or know. I promise I will attempt to lead the team just half as well as you did. Watch over us all on the field and make sure to keep us safe. Love you brother, I'll see you very soon.

So glad that Jimmy was a part of my son's life. Seeing them play as kids together and then pick up years later like they spent no time apart was magical. Sending hugs and prayers to Jimmy's family. Heaven gained a true Angel. He was taken to soon and will truly be missed.

Jimmy, all I know is that I am a better person for knowing you & I will miss you like crazy! You brought more joy to my heart than you will ever know. The way that I am feeling is best described in a quote by Flavia,"Some people come into our lives & quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same." I Love You Jimmy Will and will look forward to the day that I will see you & your sweet smile in Heaven. You are going to make one heck of an Angel!😇 You will live on in my heart forever.❤️
