Dear family, I am sorry for your lost. Going through times like this is always hard, especially in the days we are living in. But Jehovah God promised us that he will wipe every tear and there will be no more pain nor outcry (Revelations 21:3,4). This great opportunity can help you and your family get through this time. Keep praying for this day to come. Thank you and once again I am sorry for your lost.

My condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May pleasant memories of Jerry bring comfort during your time of sorrow and remembrance, along with God's promise in the Bible at John 5:21, 28 and 29.

Jehovah is the God of Comfort who can and will heal your broken heart. For His Son, Jesus, said: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." John 11:25

May you find comfort in God's promise of the resurrection through His Son, Jesus.

My sincere condolences are extended to the Shaw family for the loss of your dear loved one. Please know that our heavenly Father truly cares about you and feels the pain you are going through. Death was never part of God’s original purpose for mankind, so it greatly pains Him to lose one of His people. (Psalm 116:15) Therefore, at Isaiah 26:19, God promises that death will only be temporary, for He will soon restore our lost loved ones to life right here on the earth. What a wonderful time we have to look forward to! Until this loving promise is fulfilled, may your fond memories of Mr. Shaw bring you solace at this difficult time.

I met Glendon almost 28 years ago after he moved in with his dad just three houses from me. I have no doubt it was a God thing. Jerry accepted me with open arms, from day one. He later would stand by me during a major life changing time in my life. Never giving up on me. Never turning me away.

He supported both Glendon and I always. He was someone I would call often just to talk, a lot of people never could get that. Not many people I know just call their father in law to just talk. Or vent. He was a great listener as well as an encourager. I will miss those talks most. I will cherish the last few talks we had while he was in the hospital. Knowing without a doubt he knew how much I loved him helps during this time.

I am so thankful all my kids, minus the baby will remember their grandad. I have no doubt the baby will know him just as well by all the lasting memories the older kids will have to share with her.

I lost my mom when I was just 13, at the time it was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with. It was sudden and made no sense.

Glendon and Kristin, I know your pain, I hurt with you and for you. Always know how much you both meant to your dad. His love for you was immeasurable. I love you both.

To my kids: Landon, Joshua, Chloe, Joanna, Kaitlyn & Layla... Always know that grandad loved you all so very much. You were some of his most prized possessions. Hold on to that and the memories always.
