This is a message for the entire Enaholo Family. The Lord God will comfort each one of you. I know the pain of losing someone close. But God takes charge. I leave you with the message below from an Unknown author.

When I am gone, from this world of vanity,
release me, let me go forth
To where I cannot return from, no man is yet back,
Excerpt our Lord Jesus Christ and never went back.
You have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with sorrow and tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love. You can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it's time I traveled alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must,
Then Pray for me, to have the grace of God
For with God all things are possible!
Then let your grief be comforted by trust in God.
It's only a while that we must part,
So bless be the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will hear.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear me and
All of my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile, a hug and say
Welcome Home.
Where we part no more in God!
Adieu !!!

Mama, Rest in perfect Peace and in the bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ - Amen

I traveled this road in 1988 - so, I know the enormity of the loss of your dear mum. She played a dual role of father and mother all through your childhood and adulthood until her passing. As you comprehend this profound loss, let yourself cry, knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens. Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow. In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing. May you take comfort in knowing that there are openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. May you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, as you commit her soul to the Lord.

"Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

May your gentle soul rest in peace mama. I never got to meet you, but I heard so much about you from your daughter in-law, Christy Enaholo, about how she used to joke and laugh with you, when she went on holiday to Uromi when you were still there. It's a pity I didn't get to meet you when you moved to Lagos, as I was already lots of miles away. The good thing is, you knew the Lord, so you are in a better place, though you are well missed over here. ADIEUS MAMA!

Mama Mi!
Your exquisite sense of rhythm and fashion was second to none even in old age. I remember how we tried to call you 'mama lolo' which you rejected outright and came up with the present endearment 'mama mi' in sing song fashion. That reminds me! am still listening to your songs!

Mama was a true heroine, leader, and protector. You were a strong woman who used her strength to protect the weak.

I still remember how you use to tell me the story of how no one, including men, wouldn’t dear challenge you or molest you as they would other women and girls in the police barrack. You told me, as young girl, how you stopped a bully from bullying on my sister, Elizabeth. You gently approached the man to stop his act of tormenting and bullying of my sister, but he wouldn’t stop, but instead wanted to intimidate you. So, you let him have your wrath and discipline, thus flooring him on the ground in a fight contest. He became the laughing stock in the entire barrack and since then, he would not bother you or my sister anymore.

With that act of protection, shows how caring you are to your love ones and this you transferred to your children, making sure no one molest or abuse them. When you became a born again Christian, you became a prayer warrior for your children, constantly prayerful and fasting for their wellbeing. Now that you are gone, who’s going to fight for us now? I guess we have to fend for ourselves as you have taught us all these years both physically and spiritually.

Mama, bye-bye, and rest in peace in the Lord. I will always miss you.

Little did we know that was final blessing from a loving mother, and the "home" you meant was the eternal home.
Mama mi, it hurts me each time i step into your room, and not seeing you lying on the special bed we made for you. Mama mi, i will forever miss you. Up till now, am still in shock that you are gone because there is no second mother. No one can ever take your place in my life because you were and a great mother to me, a great friend and confidant.
