In memory of my beloved mom, who quietly slipped into heaven on a warm spring night, into the arms of the Lord.

My mom was my best friend, the best mom a daughter could ask for. She was strong, kind, wise, and beautiful. She was always there for me, through laughter, celebration, turmoil, and tears, always with a smile in her heart.

My mom was a giving person and a wonderful friend to others, including animals. She was especially fond of cats and dogs and loved to feed the birds, squirrels, and raccoons.

She is greatly missed by all, especially her daughter. As she rests in eternal peace, she will forever live in our hearts and memories.

“All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother.”
~ Abraham Lincoln

A Daughter’s Goodbye

I sat outside in the pale moonlight
I saw her face and knew something wasn’t right
She came to tell me you were gone
She didn’t speak, the feeling was strong

I rushed inside to be with you
I refused to believe this could be true
She held my hand along the way
She didn’t speak, there was nothing to say

I walked through the door and saw you there
I cried as it was more than I could bear
She waited as I said goodbye
She didn’t speak, as I continued to cry

I kissed your face and hugged you tight
I knew the Lord had taken you this night
She let me know it was time to go
She didn’t speak, but she did know

I miss you mom, so very much
I miss your love, your tender touch
She gently smiled and let go of my hand
She knew where you were, in the promised land

I cherish the time that we spent together
I will love you always, that is forever
She was an angel who carried me through
She whispered softly, I love you

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

"The Rainbow Bridge"

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called The Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.

Just this side of The Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail are made young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other. There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.

So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group! You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then you cross The Rainbow Bridge together, never to be separated.

Happy Birthday, mom! I love you and miss you so much! It's raining today, just as it was the morning you passed. As I listen to the raindrops, I know you're close by, tears falling from heaven in the night sky.

I love the poem and bible verse.

Be assured our loved ones are in heaven waiting for us.

Your Mom was a very nice person that added lots of love and care to this world.

"Spring has sprung again this year, another one without you here. After the rain, a rainbow appears; it's where I look and know you're near. Some day I pray, way up high, we'll meet over that rainbow, where peace abounds and bluebirds fly. xo xo"
