Stories
Borneo
Don and I were at Helen's house watching a video of Christmas at her home (had only known her a short while). In the background, while watching the video, we heard Helen talk about a National Geographic episode she saw. It was about the natives. She said, " i believe it was in Borneo". It was so funny and I laughed until I cryed. Since that day several years ago, I called her BORNEO! I also loved her because she made my son GOODIES all the time. We will truly miss you--but at the same time have learned a lot about life, forgiveness and sincerely looking into the hearts of people around us. I know that Borneo had so much influence in me seeing my husband as a loving man, a great grandpa, a good husband and helping me not Give Up when I wanted to.

My Memories Of Granny
I will always remember and never forget that granny always made us the most adorable barbie outfits. She also for every holiday gave us the books that made us learn it was the famous Reader's Digest Young Families book that always started out with I Wonder Why....... And for example one was i wonder why the sea is salty ect. I always enjoyed playing w/her arms and all that extra smooth skin hanging off. I could never ask for a better great grandma I love her and will miss her always!

Granny and her hats
Some of the best memories I have of Granny are the hats she was always so proud to wear. Whenever she came to visit and go to church with us she would put on a different hat. Once that hat went on, Granny turned into a Hollywood movie star and flashed those beautiful eyes and smile that just melted my heart.
I also loved to see her wearing her ballcaps just put on a bit to the side. She was adorable and I will miss her with all my heart.
