I remember on my very first job with Boeing, not having much of anything to start, Helen took me in for a few months until I was able to afford it on my own. She did this even with having all her kids home, she still found room. I remember her good cooking and deserts she would always make. Helen was such a gracious, caring person. She can be described by all the good words a person can possibly think of. She will certainly be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

I love you all very much, I always remember Granny Helen telling me how big and beautiful I was getting, and all that jazz, she knew flattery and she knew it well, I'll miss her beautiful smile and her kind and loving heart.

Don and I were at Helen's house watching a video of Christmas at her home (had only known her a short while). In the background, while watching the video, we heard Helen talk about a National Geographic episode she saw. It was about the natives. She said, " i believe it was in Borneo". It was so funny and I laughed until I cryed. Since that day several years ago, I called her BORNEO! I also loved her because she made my son GOODIES all the time. We will truly miss you--but at the same time have learned a lot about life, forgiveness and sincerely looking into the hearts of people around us. I know that Borneo had so much influence in me seeing my husband as a loving man, a great grandpa, a good husband and helping me not Give Up when I wanted to.

It is so hard to say good-bye to someone so loved! I have lost my dear sister Helen, but somethings never leave us! Fond memories, shared laughter, a bond of love and closeness. So much to say good-bye to...so much to be thankful for. You will be with me always!

My Darling Mother, you precious Angel, when you left this world to receive your Crown In Heaven it left a huge hole in my heart. You are everything to me, my yesterday today and tomorrow. Because of you and your unwavering faith in Jesus Christ as the guiding light, I learned what's at the heart of a good life; love family and lifetime friends. Those things are true and lasting! It is what makes us strong and helps us in our journey through life. Thank you Mother for your unconditional Love that created a strong bond in our relationship. You are the epitome of 1Corinthians 13. You will always be the "Love Of My Life".....You are my Rock!

I will always remember and never forget that granny always made us the most adorable barbie outfits. She also for every holiday gave us the books that made us learn it was the famous Reader's Digest Young Families book that always started out with I Wonder Why....... And for example one was i wonder why the sea is salty ect. I always enjoyed playing w/her arms and all that extra smooth skin hanging off. I could never ask for a better great grandma I love her and will miss her always!

I loved granny more then anything! I will hold on and cherish the most amazing memories made with her. Home made pancakes with rasberry yami yougurt, always having PB captian crunch (my fav) at her house when growing up. We also had our own little tradition, she would save the wish bones out of any chicken she cooked and safe them in the window ledge in the kitchen for when I came over. I have a HUGE hole in my life with her gone that never will be filled again, but Granny I know you are in a better place taking care of the most wonderfull garden and baking all the BEST cookies! I love you more then the moon and stars! Love Jamie "DOO"

One of the cutest things she used to do is to stand on the front porch watching leave...A lot of the times it was risky business backing out onto Fruitland Ave safely, traffic could be fast and furious...she would stand there no matter the weather outside and wave, smile and blow kisses ...till you were gone. I treasured that soooo much!

Some of the best memories I have of Granny are the hats she was always so proud to wear. Whenever she came to visit and go to church with us she would put on a different hat. Once that hat went on, Granny turned into a Hollywood movie star and flashed those beautiful eyes and smile that just melted my heart.

I also loved to see her wearing her ballcaps just put on a bit to the side. She was adorable and I will miss her with all my heart.

"Aunty was so loved because she gave love so easily to everyone. She leaves us having done everything the Lord asked of her and we are sure there's a very special place waiting in Heaven - one with lots of pretty yellow hats. Forever with us."
