SAFELY HOME

I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmy. Trod the valley of shade? Oh! but Jesus' love illumined. Every dark and fearful glade. And He came Himself to meet me. In that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus' arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread? Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still: Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's Will. There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth-You shall rest in Jesus'land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!

We lost Hector on the morning of July 18, 2010 at 4:30AM to Alzheimer's Disease. Hector was a great friend, son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and especially a great husband. He will live in our hearts and souls forever. We know that he is in heaven smiling and watching over us. Rest in Peace to our Happy Feet.

Dads and Daughters Are Forever Friends

Your words let me know I was loved. Your hugs told me I was heard and understood. Your smiles reminded me I had a special friend in you. For as long as I can remember, Dad, you've been there for me; believing in me, caring about me and playing an important role in my life that no one else could ever fill. These words describe you. You were and always will be a special person in my life. And like I told you before, I want to tell you again, thank you for being my father because no matter what anybody says you are father. I will never stop telling people how special you really were. I love you and miss you dearly. Rest in Peace.

"You were a special person in my life. You always made me feel special. You taught me that I could do anything I put my mind to. And even though I miss you terribly, I know that you are not suffering and at peace."
