Gary was my best bud, worked for me, with me, but taught me what good music really was. I was Southern-rock naïve when we met. I will miss you , my friend, ironically, since I just located you since we moved in the 90's, God Bless you.

Recent Song written by friend Kyle Patten, in honor of some of his musician friends, including Gary, who have recently passed.

"The Reaper Came Too Soon." by Kyle Dean Patten

Walking through the pub
There showing me no love
I head for the stage there saying “what’s your name?’
That same old story you’ve lived it long before
But some how I thought I’d see you
Walking through my door

Nothing I can do
I always think of you
The reaper
The reaper came too soon

I sit and muse my drink
I’ve got to much time to think
Preparing for the show
That feeling you well know
Feeling all my age, hard livings left a stain
What’s that? I thought I heard you saying my name

Nothing I can do
I always think of you
The reaper
The reaper came too soon
