What a great site. As always, you did a great job. Dean is truly missed. I can not believe it has been 8 years that he has gone, and it just seems like yesterday.

Love ya.

As a Fire Department Deputy Commander in Arizona, I have been compiling AZ Fire Dept Line of Duty Deaths, and am glad to come across rare information and a photo of Gary. Very nice site. Great music. Thanks.

Hi Erin, My name is Patrick Padilla and amazingly I just found out about Gary's passing last weekend. My condolences to you and his family. I'm originally from Santa Rosa. Gary and I met at NM Boy's State in Roswell, way back in 1982. We had lots in common with him being from Vaughn and me from SR. I just figured out our birthdays were just five days apart as I was born on 5/21/65. He was always a good friend and we kept in touch for about 10 years. I think we lost touch because we lived in different states. What I do remember is that he was a good person, very funny, often with a dry sense of humor. He also had a seriousness that made him seem older, even when he was a teenager. Thanks for creating this web site so we can remember him. I'm sure he's very proud of you. (July 2010)

What a great way to share memories of Gary. I would like to share the time he came home with Barb with a huge, life size poster of George Straight and scared the crap out of Erin and I. I guess we wouldn't have been so scared if we weren't sealed in the dark watching Amittyville Horror.
