This site is dedicated to Eunice Weems. Eunice was born in Southey, Saskatchewan, Canada on March 28, 1922 to parents Ludvig & Elizabeth Jago Martin. She died on Friday, February 6th, 2009 at the Rocking D Adult Foster Home in Hermiston at the age of 86 years. Eunice has been a resident of Hermiston the past 34 Years; she was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sweet Adeline’s & volunteered at the Senior Center. She was Married On January 25, 1949 in Los Angeles, CA to Caraway "Ted" Weems. She graduated from Bertha High School in Bertha Minnesota in 1940.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Caraway "ted" Weems in 1994; her parents Ludvig & Elizabeth Martin.
Eunice is survived by two sons, Kenneth Martin Weems & Don Caraway Weems; daughter, Valerie Eunice Horton & husband Richard Wendell Horton Sr. of Hermiston; Brother Eugene Martin; two sisters, Esther Haluza & Elizabeth Paulson.
Eunice has 7 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren.
Memorials Services was held on Friday February 13th, 2009 at 10AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 515 SW 7th Street in Hermiston.
Burial of cremains followed in the Hermiston Cemetery.
All memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hermiston.
Burns Mortuary of Hermiston was in care of arrangements.
