Dear Mike,
I completely lost touch with your mom and with Sid I was surfing the Tusculum College website and found her. I would like to connect with you. I live just north of Columbus OH I have a FaceBook page that has tons of pictures of all of my family and my adventures in Jamaica. You should be able to access that page whether or not you personally have FB

Tell me about your life and what you are doing and any info about your sister as well as last years of your moms life.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Your cousin, Betsy

We were friends of Rebel at Tusculum College. Just saw the notice of her death on the Tusculum web site. We have talked about her each year at Homecoming but no one knew where she was located.
We wish to express our sympathy to you and your family.

I am so sorry to learn of Rebel's demise. We were roommates our freshman year Class of 1955. Being from the South she brought a Rebel flag to decorate our room and being from the North I added a Union Jack. We became forever friends, but going our separate ways after graduation geography eventually lost touch. Later on we regained our friendship through phone calls and e-mails. So enjoyed her jokes and as well her political viewpoints akin to my own. For several months I tried to locate her to no avail. Finally I found her son's address which enabled me to offer fond farewell to her and condolence to her children. I will always miss her in my life.

Mike -- I had tried to communicate with Ellen several times last winter but got no responses to my emails and did not have her address in Texas. Tom did a search and found your website. I was very sorry to hear of Ellen's death, but some comments she made to me made me think she was missing her husband and was ready to die.

She and I used to go together to visit my step-mother, Ruth, after my father died. Sometimes my sister Lisl would join us. We would take Ruth out to lunch and have a great gabfest. Ellen also would always do Ruth taxes for her.

I am glad Ellen was with you and being cared for in her final months.

Hi, Mike. I'd been thinking of contacting you, because all the funny emails I used to get stopped coming. Now I know why. Thanks for seeing that I got this.
