Donnie Layton

December 5, 1954

November 3, 2009

This site is dedicated to my brother Donnie Layton who passed away on November 3, 2009. It still seems surreal that he is not here anymore. His death has left my whole family numb and has left a void that can never be filled. When I think about my brother, I think about how much he loved and lived life to the fulliest. He traveled the world while enlisted in the Army and even after retirement. He would just up an go at any moment. I think about his smile and sense of humor. I don't know if I will ever get over his death but I thank God that we had him for the time that we did. I thank God that he is free from suffering and pain.

Donnie....I love you and I will never forget you or the laughs that we shared. You have given me memories that I will treasure forever.

I grew up with Donnie and always considered him to be one of my best friends. We didn't see each other very as adults, but the friendship that we established during our childhood and teen years never wavered. I will always cherish the time that we spent together. I think of him often and miss him dearly.
