Please join us to celebrate the life of our Dad, Dick Flickinger.

Eustace TX - please email for address

The nearest towns with hotels are Gun Barrel City, Mabank and Athens. All three towns are about 10 miles from the Flickinger Ranch.
There is a HUGE flea market taking place on Monday in Canton, TX...this means that hotels in Athens go quickly and can get expensive if you wait too long. So book early if you plan to stay in Athens.

Many of us will be around ALL weekend, so plan to stay a night or two if you so desire. We will all get together on Sunday as well. It will be a weekend of fun and remembrance.

Please feel free to pass along this invitation! The more the merrier!

What I cherished about Dick Flickinger. In many ways he was further along in spirit than most of us and he came to this life with the gift to heal: in words and in touch. He could brighten up a life with his smile and with the slow methodical response of his heart and the warmth of his voice he could put anyone at ease. He would envelop you in his arms and hold you with unyielding strength. He knew how to have fun. He didn’t take any BS from the ones he loved because he knew the greatness of each of us even when we didn’t understand it ourselves. He had confidence in the people he loved when they struggled to find it in themselves. I am so honored to have been part of his life and to share in the bringing into this world the two beautiful spirits in our daughters. I will miss you Dick, my first love and my friend forever.
