Thanks to all of you at Dillard's WolfChase in Cordova, Tennessee for the honor you bestowed on me by allowing me to attend your annual Pacesetter's celebration on behalf of all her family. It has brought to a close the public acknowledgement of her passing. Soon we will be closing this page to the general public so our family can move on to the sad task of letting go.

This Memorial is dedicated to Brenda Denise "Niecee" Daniel (Franklin/Taylor). We recently had a Celebration of her life with her closest friends and family. It was truly one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences in the lives of all that attended. The day was marked with overwhelming hope and happiness and each person there contributed to the healing power of pure love and friendship.

Denise was a loving Daughter to Rene Gregg Daniel, John and Eva Daniel of Starkville, MS. Sister to Theresa Daniel Dreesen, Keith, Daryl and Donell Daniel; her Hartness step-siblings George, Linda Robertson, Kay Cummings and Betty Andol. Niece to her 2 living Aunts, Margie Sizemore and Matt Stancil of Memphis and her many Aunts and Uncles who have passed away. Granddaughter of Augusta and Mary Bell Daniel, Odie and Clara Gregg all of Starkville, MS.

She had 2 nieces; Anna and Julia Dreesen and 4 nephews; Clay, Drew, Hall and John Reed Daniel. She had not met her 2 Daniel great nieces, but spent time with her great niece Cora Jane White and nephew Jackson Brian White. It is impossible to note all of her many cousins be they a Gregg, Daniel, Morgan, Bishop, Williford or Jackson, but she was adored by one and all.

Last but not least are the members of her extended circle of Friends and Family that she chose. Thanks to all of you who have been a source of strength and compassion throughout her life.

Her youth was spent moving throughout the state of Mississippi with our family to posts where the Mississippi Baptist Convention felt our father was most needed. Most of her life included summer trips to Memphis to visit family. At the age of 13 she moved to Memphis where she remained for most of her life. As Keith has said, "She was a true Memphis Belle".

Denise had a full career in Sales that eventually led her to Dillard's at Wolfchase Mall heading up the sales force in the Handbag Department. There she was a Pacesetter for 7 out of her 8 year tenure. The network of friends and customers she had will surely miss her sweet personality and genuine warmth.

Recently she was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of living in Panama City Beach, Florida. Starting a new life at the Pier Park Dillard's location, she was beginning a whole new chapter in her book of life. Unfortunately, that dream only lasted a few short weeks before a fatal head-on collision dealt her a losing hand.

We invite you to leave a remembrance of Denise in the Guest Book section and to donate to a cause that was very important to her as a dedicated pet parent of Labrador Retrievers, Beau and Gracie. So, in lieu of cards or flowers, she would be more honored by donations to the Humane Society of Memphis. Helping other animals to find their forever home was a goal she had set for the last phase of her life.

Be sure to check the photo section for more great pictures depicting her life story. There are gaps in the photo array because many of her photos were not available to us. If you have any you would like to add, we will be glad to help you post them.

My condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May pleasant memories of Denise bring comfort during your time of sorrow and remembrance, along with God's promise in the Bible at John 5:21, 28 and 29.

Jehovah is the God of Comfort who can and will heal your broken heart. For His Son, Jesus, said: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." (John 11:25)

I love the pictures. They bring back good memories of your family.
I am surprised by how much Denise looks like Judy and Jamie. Love you all.
