Passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 18, 2015, in hospice at her home in Orinda.

She lived a long and full life. Born and raised in San Francisco, and a long time resident of Orinda, California. Beloved wife of the late Sam Wong, and survived by her children; Chris Wong (Myron Fong), Audrey (Horace) Ching, Collin Wong (Michelle Chang), and Holly Gisler, and grandchildren; Micheil Zamora, Cameron Zamora, and Kealani Wong, and great grandson, Cameron Zamora.

She loved her home of 44 years in Orinda, California, and hosting her annual summer bbqs with her family; brother, Jack Quan, and sisters, the late Frances Leong, Virginia Won, Claire Fung, and Sylvia Chan, and her nephews and nieces, and the rest of her family and friends. She also adored her faithful companion Bichon Frise, “Zoe”.

We are indebted to the care of her medical team and to her devoted caregivers, who held her hand and ours in her final days in Orinda.

Donations in lieu of cards and flowers are requested to her favorite charity, Donaldina Cameron House, or the American Heart Association, in memory of Daisy Wong.

No funeral services are planned. A Celebration of Life reception is planned for a later date.

Dear Wong Family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences and find comfort in knowing that we will soon have the opportunity to welcome back our loved ones that have died. In God's word, the Bible, we find this promise: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28,29)

With Sincerity,
Abby E

Dear Colin and Family,

We were so sorry to hear of your mom's passing and may all the wonderful memories of her bring you all comfort at this time. Her face always lit up when talking about the grandchildren and great-grandson.
We will remember her smile and laugh and Chinese New Year dinners. Take care!

Dear Family of Daisy,

I'm sorry that you are experiencing the mourning of losing a love one. Many if not all of us has experienced this, but I would like to share a brief scripture that will may just bring you comfort.

(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Thanks for reading.
